South Australia is reigniting the love for festivals with a number of world renowned events set to take place in 2021.

Tasting Australia

30 April – 9 May 2021
Tasting Australia will return in 2021 with a 10 day long program highlighting the best food and wine from the region. Running for 24 years and now helmed by celebrity chef Simon Bryant, the 2021 program includes 140 event s and 11 regions.

 

Festival highlights:

  • Town Square – the festival hub held in Victoria Square in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD
  • Tasting Table Series – A brand new addition to the 2021 program, Tasting Table takes you into the bars and restaurants for unique experiences.
  • Cinco De Mayo Fiesta – Feast on regional Mexican cuisine at Pirate Life Brewery
  • Tasting Australia Airlines Kangaroo Island – A private charter flight and the best cuisine KI has to offer

Tour Down Under

19 – 24 January 2021

Returning in 2021 the Santos Tour Down Under will return as the Santos Festival of Cycling, a 6 day domestic cycling festival for all cycling enthusiasts. The festival will include a 4 stage national road series covering the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Adelaide Fringe Festival

19 February – 21 March 2021

The largest fringe festival in the Southern Hemisphere might be a bit smaller in 2021, but the show must go on!

Adelaide Fringe will return to the streets and venues of Adelaide for a month-long festival of comedy, theatre and music. The festival will include hubs and outdoor pop up venues.
