Below we have highlighted our favourite reasons to visit Sydney!
You don’t have to travel far to feel the sand between your toes, whether you are hitting the surf at Bondi Beach, finding a secluded spot or relaxing on the calm harbour waters you are spoilt for choice.
Visit Cockatoo Island
Soak up the history of Cockatoo Island, on a guided history and paranormal tour or just relax at one of the waterfront cafes and enjoy the panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.
Enjoy a Long Brunch
Start your day off right with a delicious brunch at one of Sydney’s famous cafes, sample the famous hotcakes at Bills or visit The Grounds for the perfect avocado toast, that is both delicious and Instagram ready!
Take in the stunning views
There are so many opportunities to see the stunning views of Sydney Harbour, from the top of the bridge during the bridge climb or from the sea of the Manly ferry which travels from Circular Quay to Manly during a half-hour cruise. Visit the lesser-known Pylon Lookout for elevated views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, plus inside there is a small museum dedicated to the history and construction of the iconic bridge.
Get out of the city
There is so much more to Sydney than it’s iconic landmarks, if you travel out of the CBD you will find that each suburb has its own distinct vibe. Whether you want to spend the day strolling through the inner eastern suburbs like Surry Hills, and Paddington visiting bistros, galleries and suburb shopping or head west to Chippendale or Newtown some of Sydney’s most lively precincts packed with cafes and independent boutiques, there is something for everyone.
