Tasting Australia is back in Adelaide for another year running from the 30th of April to the 9th of May 2021, in collaboration with some of Australia’s world-class chefs the festival is full of unique food and beverage experiences. For 10 days Tasting Australia is your chance to sample premium, unprecedented eating and drinking experiences from chefs including Maggie Beer, Andy Allen, Sean Connolly, Mark, Labrooy and more! Town Square Kitchen
This is the go-to festival destination, where you can watch top chefs create dazzling delights. Situated in the heart of Adelaide in Victoria Square the Town Square Kitchen is open to the public along with hosting ticked events. Some event highlights include Seed and Soil, a menu highlighting Vegetarian cuisine with Kane Pollard, the Launch of Henschke’s 2016 Vintage and Mayura Station Rare Cuts celebrating world-class wagyu. It is the ideal spot to relax and immerse yourself in all things Tasting Australia.
Angler Sustainable & Ethically Sourced Seafood
Visit Angler, South Australia’s first and only fully sustainable and ethical fish and chippery, in the leafy Adelaide hills and enjoy a seven-course menu of ethically sourced seafood paired with drinks. Learn the chefs tips for preparing delicious seafood and how to cook with species you may not have used before.

Tour through the historic Adelaide Central Market, a series of free events hosted by top South Australian Chefs will showcase the amazing produce and incredible vendors. Wander through the market to buy your own ingredients to cook up your own Tasting Australia Inspired meal.
Butchers Block, Presented by Australia Good Meat: Lamb
This unique event is your chance to join a one-hour butchery masterclass. Guided by Butcher Doug Piper this masterclass will take you through the art of butchery with a focus on identifying some of the more curious cuts and how to cook with them. Doug will be joined by a South Australian lamb farmer who will share their story and reveal how world class standards and sustainable on-farm practices make Australian lamb the best in the world.
East End Cellars Masterclass: Beer Sensory – Priate Life
Join the experts at East End Cellars and Pirate Life and gain a greater insight into one of mankind’s favourite beverages. Touch, smell and taste the core ingredients used in the production of beer, before analysing Pirate Life beer to put your new knowledge to the test.
The Festival of Sausage in Bread
Explore the culinary breadth of the Aussie favourite the humble Sausage in Bread. Sample delights from all over the world including the Argentinian choripan and South African boerewors to the Thai “sai ua” and Scottish square sausage (not to mention English bangers, German bratwursts, American hotdogs, and Serbian cevapcici), this one-day event will convert even the saltiest sausage sourpuss into a cabana connoisseur.
